Task 4: Fitting in

Understand the task

Task 4 of the example exam set for Engelsk 1, Høst 2021 is about fitting in. It asks you to recall fiction texts you have worked with in class, which could be literary texts, tv series, or movies. The texts must be about a character struggling to find his or her place in society. You must pick one and write a text where you reflect on what you have learned about this character.

Remember that it is always a good idea to quote specific lines from your chosen text to back up your analysis.

Since we do not know what you have worked with in class, this task could be answered in many different ways. Below, we give you an example of what it might look like.
