Task 2D: The Unity of the United Kingdom

When we talk about the United Kingdom, we actually refer to several state entities that are joined together: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

This also implies that some conflicts are bound to appear. Each country has its own culture, traditions and perspective on how the UK should work or what it actually represents.

In Task 2D, you are provided with three images showing what might represent challenges to the unity of UK. In what follows, we will outline the pictures and discuss what they suggest about how united the UK really is.
