Answer one of the alternatives a), b), c) or d)

Study the material in Appendix 1 on voting practice. On the basis of this material, discuss why voting practice still is an issue in the USA today.

b)
Read the text Nector Kashpaw in Appendix 2. Compare the character’s minority experiences to similar experiences from other English-language literary works or films you have studied this year.

c)
In the light of the May 7 general election in the UK and using the information in Appendix 3, describe and comment on the new vote-swapping trend in Britain and explain why you think some voters are taking this action.

d) 
Using the pictures and the chart below discuss how united you think the United Kingdom is and will continue to be in the near future.
